Our Story

How We Got Into Building Decks

We build and repair decks for homeowners across Chaparral and the surrounding valley, and most of us got into this trade because we like working with our hands outdoors instead of behind a desk. Some of what we do is new construction on a bare patio slab, and some of it is walking onto a deck someone else built and figuring out why it's failing.

If you called us because a board gave way underfoot or a railing post is loose enough to worry you, that's usually rot at the post base or a ledger board that was never flashed right. We pull the bad wood, check the framing underneath, and rebuild the connection so it sheds water instead of holding it. Get that flashing right the first time and the deck stays solid for years.
